Since January 2005, Luciane Leite is the Tourism and Entertainment Director of São Paulo Turismo - SPTURIS, responsible for the institutional representation of the company in its relationship with public authorities and private entities of the tourism sector.  She coordinates all promotion, progress and structure of the tourism as well as its spreading within the city of São Paulo, in the State of São Paulo, all around Brazil and other countries, thus developing a larger flow of travelling within the national territory.  She also manage the promotion, generation and organization of events that are attractive to the Municipality, in Brazil and abroad.  Graduated by the Tourism University of Bahia, with an MBA in Marketing by ESPM (Superior School of Advertising and Marketing) with a specialization in Marketing of Tourist Destination by the George Washington University, she worked for the Bahia State Tourism and its capital for 15 years.  During this period, she was one of the individual responsible for the construction, communication and consolidation of the image of this important touristic destination in the international market.  Fluent in German, English and French she has a 20 years experience in the segment of touristic leisure, culture, entertainment and business including congresses, convocations and incentives in the national and international markets.

Olaf, as he is known, born in Rio de Janeiro, has a German Passport and a Portuguese accent, he is married to a Mexican lady whom he met in Bali while living in Singapore.  He works in a Korean company with head office in Dallas. He became the General Director of Korean Air in 2004 developing Latin American marketing and business.  He was the one to lead the pioneering direct flight between Seoul/Los Angeles and São Paulo in June 2008, and at this time he is involved in various expansion projects for the company in this region.  With a Master degree in Political Science obtained in Germany, Olaf speaks five languages and has visited nearly all the countries in Europe, Asia and the Americas.  Before joining Korean Air, he was a press advisor to the German Government and the city of Los Angeles.  "My priority is to inform the public regarding this company and its impeccable service, on its way to become the leader in world aviation", says this perfect gentleman who loves good gastronomy.

With a BA in Tourism by the Anhembi-Morumbi University, and an MBA in Tourism, Hotel and Entertainment by the FGV with an extension at the College of Business of Ohio University, Eduardo has more than 10 years experience in management and corporate travel procurement, and he presently holds the position of Purchasing Leader and Travel Council for IBM, Latin America.  He has experience in outsourcing procurement, airline companies and TMC.  He is a university teacher for the Tourism courses, giving classes at the Corporate Travel Academy. He is co-author of books such as "Agências de Viagens e Turismo - Práticas de Mercado" (Travel and tourist agencies - Market practices) and "Viagens Corporativas: Saiba tudo sobre gestão, estratégias e desafios deste promissor segmento" (Corporate Travels:  everything on management, strategies, challenges in this promising segment).

He is the most important expert in sales in Brazil, a conference speaker, and author of 16 books and 31 DVDs, highlighting his best seller "O Vendedor Pit Bull" (The Pit Bull Salesman) available in more than 30 countries.  With a degree in Law and post graduate in Marketing in Brazil and in Varejo, USA, he also has specialization courses held in Europe and the United States in Merchandizing and Business Administration.  In 1993, Luppa was elected one of the best thousand executives in the world and received various prizes among which is the Excellence in sales training; RH personality of the year, revelation as a speaker in Brazil and internationally Brazil-Japan.  During 20 years as executive, he has been the leader of important national and international organizations. At present he is the President of Trend Operator, a worldwide tourism segment group.

André Carvalhal – President - Carlson Wagonlit Travel

He started his professional career in 1991 with Travel Agency Chanteclair, a company founded by his grand-father in Rio de Janeiro in 1956.  This company was incorporated to the multinational CWT in 1997.  In 2006 he is elected Vice President of Carlson Wagonlit Travel in Brazil and in July of 2007, he is nominated as President, position he still holds today.  Graduated in Administration by the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and Post graduate in Finance by the Getulio Vargas Foundation in São Paulo, he participated in the STC Program of the Dom Cabral Foundation in 2002 when he had the opportunity to study at Kellogg University in Chicago.  In 2010 André participated in the formation of ABRACORP (Brazilian Association of Corporate Agencies) of which he is an Administration Council Member.

Partner and founder of ViajaNet together with a T.I.T. and IG Expansion.  He founded ViajaNet at the end of 2009.  In 2011 the site received an important contribution of $19 million dollars from RedPoint Ventures with participation of General Catalyst.  Before founding ViajaNet, he worked at Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Decolar.com during a few years, holding various positions.  He participated in the startup of Panamericano Viagens  - Silvio Santos Group.  He has a degree in Business Administration and an MBA specialization in Marketing by FGV - Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Getulio Vargas Foundation).

Patricia Thomas – ABGEV VP and Academia de Viagens Director

Graduate in Hotel Management, she worked for four years in this sector. Later, she worked for over thirteen years at Cargill Agrícola, in São Paulo, in the procurement department, coordinating the corporate travel area of 13 countries in Latin America. In addition, she was a member of the Company’s Global Committee of Travels, along with representatives from Europe, America and Asia. The knowledge she has gained on the market along her career was of utmost importance to know the sector, its products and partners.

Engaged in issues related to professional and sectorial development, Patrícia was one of ABGEV founders in 2003; currently, she occupies the entity’s vice-presidency. She is fully involved with this industry-related issues and which is reflected on the actions she heads both inside and outside the entity.

Because of her direct participation in different actions, Patrícia is one of the sector’s voices in Latin America and her experiences and techniques are scattered in projects, classes and lectures at the Academia de Viagens e Talentos Corporativos board, where she is one of the associated directors.

With a degree in Mechanical Engineering by UNICAMP and post graduation in Business Administration at FGV and Advanced Administration by INSEAD France, he was a Rhodia executive for 25 years, holding strategic positions including General Management and Presidency of the Group companies in Brazil and France.  Today, he is the President of the PKT Desenvolvimento Empresarial which elaborates growing strategies, and administration of medium size companies. He is a member and representative of the Foundation Dom Cabral for Campinas and regions.

Ricardo Freire – Writer

A successful former advertiser, Ricardo Freire is the founder and chief editor of the site viajenaviagem.com.  He visited 55 countries, undertook 2 voyages around the world, travelled 4 times along the Brazilian coast and 6 times to the North coast of Brazil.  In 1998 he published a manual "Viaje na Viagem - Auto-ajuda para turistas" (Travel during your journey - help for tourists).  To date, the best Brazilian reference of its kind.  He published  "Postais por Escrito" and a beach guide "Freire´s", a manual "100 dicas para viajar melhor" (one hundred tips for a better voyage) and a guide "100 praias que valem a viagem" (100 beaches worth the trip).  He worked as a contributor in a number of magazines, including Época, Vip e Viagem & Turismo.  At present, has a column entitled "viagem" (trip) in the Estado de S. Paulo newspaper.  Elected by the magazine Gol as one of the "gurus" of the Web 2.0 trips.
